Gazprom voids 156 bln rbl tender for Sila Sibiri’s construction
MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has cancelled its 155.9 billion ruble tender for construction of the Sila Sibiri (Power of Siberia) natural gas pipeline to China, which was previously criticized by the Federal Antimonopoly Service due to violations of the antimonopoly law, as seen by PRIME on Tuesday in the state procurements’ Web site.
On December 9, the service’s Director Igor Artemyev said he sent a letter to Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller outlining the company’s violations, and requested it revise procurement terms for construction of the pipeline in compliance with procurement legislation.
